The customer
Bromford are a housing association – one of the largest in the coutry. They have over 44,000 homes spread across central and south west England, housing 100,000 residents. They believe in providing warm, safe and secure homes and they rely on BAC to ensure the safety of their residents and properties.
Property types
Bromford have a huge stock of housing which includes nearly every property type imaginable. Their portfolio includes 1970’s high rise flatted properties, sheltered sites where residents have access to onsite staff and medical assistance if required and bungalow schemes where residents enjoy the security of living in a controlled community with the independence of having their own property.
In recent years Bromford have invested in new property offering the latest in environmentally friendly accommodation coupled with great outdoor space and a high level of security.
A truly comprehensive service
BAC originally provided Bromford with a basic range of Fire and Security services, however due to the size and complexity of their portfolio BAC reacted by increasing their range of services to include all types of safety system. This allowed Bromford to utilise BAC for all their annual maintenance’s, as well as reactive needs whatever the problem may be.
BAC now provide Bromford with a reactive engineer response 24 hours a day, as well as the annual planned maintenance’s for all systems including:

Accreditations such as BAFE and SSAIB give Bromford the peace of mind knowing that everything BAC provide meets the applicable UK
standard. In addition to Industry Accreditations, BAC is also an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 company and hold Trading standards
approval in recognition of customer service.

Through nearly 30 years of installing and maintaining, BAC have become experts in their field and have been approved by all leading manufacturers.
Bromford keep their sites up to date through a regimented program of scheduled upgrades. As an approved installer by the worlds leading Fire Safety equipment manufacturer Honeywell®, BAC is trusted to advise and deliver any required changes.
Many of these sites are equipped with Telecare systems. These give elderly residents and their families the reassurance of knowing that help is only ever a push of a button away. The leading manufacturer and most widely acclaimed and used product is the Tynetec® range of which BAC are an approved installer.
The vast majority of Bromford sites are equipped with Access Control systems. These only
allow authorised persons to enter the building, or be granted access remotely by residents. The leading manufacturer in respect of Access Control is PAXTON. BAC are an approved
installer of this range of products.
