If you are a contract maintenance customer you benefit from our free technical support service. Just pick up the phone 24 hours a day, any day of the year.
This service allows us to talk you through the most common checks, possibly saving you the cost of a call-out if we can help you remotely…. But there’s no need to worry if it can’t be resolved over the phone…just request an engineer and we’ll be right with you. This service applies to all customers regardless of what system BAC maintains for you.
2. Guidance and User Training
We’ll help you get the most from your system(s)
To complement our telephone support, BAC can also provide you with any reference material for your system equipment. If requested we will send you user manuals and quick start guides for any aspect of your Fire or Security systems. If you feel you would benefit from one of our Engineers walking you through your system in person, just ask and we will happily arrange for a training session during your next maintenance visit. We can also arrange system user training sessions outside of your annual visits for a price of a call out.
BAC believe in helping our customers manage their systems, through user training we can provide easy to follow instruction in how to use your system and its various functions.
3. Free Bell Box upgrades on any Intruder Alarm Maintenance
It’s Shiny, Blue and Brand Spanking new!
One of the best deterrents you can have on your property is a ‘Live’ Bell box. This shows any passing individual that your site is Alarmed and protected.
When BAC take over and maintain your Intruder Alarm system, we will also replace your existing Bell box with one of our new ‘Night Glow’ Delta Bell Boxes. This superb external sounder not only looks good, but is illuminated internally by an LED panel making it impossible to miss at night. The unit has a built-in photocell which automatically illuminates the box once the sun goes down.

This scheme provides pupils with interview practice, access to apprenticeship programmes and a gentle introduction to the working world. 6. Take your cover wherever you go
It’s Paid for, Personal and subsequently…. Portable
If you should move premises at any point during your yearly subscription, BAC is happy to move it with you. We know that sometimes customers relocate for business purposes, or when they move house. In these scenarios BAC will transfer your current agreement and carry out a survey of the new premises, should the new buildings annual costs be less than the original contract we will credit your BAC account accordingly. If of course the new building should be a higher cost, you will be asked to pay the difference.
If you should want to make use of our compliance services, BAC can organise a Fire Risk Assessment of your new premises to ascertain whether it’s compliant with the British Standards for fire safety.
7. Fix your annual costs for up to 3 years

BAC is happy to reward our customers loyalty and commitment by offering a fixed cost for up to 3 years should you wish to pay for your annual services in advance.

Annually inspected by independent auditors for excellence
BAC has been awarded SSAIB accreditation for the Design, Installation, Repair and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems and Access Control Systems. The SSAIB annually audit BAC for our procedures and quality of service.
BAC also holds BAFE accreditation for the Design, Installation, Repair and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems.
The company is also proud to hold various ISO accreditations, such as 9001:2015 for our Quality Management, 14001 for our Environmental procedures and 45001 for Our Health and Safety procedures.
Were also members of The FIA, the UK’s largest fire protection trade association. This provides BAC with constant updates of industry standards and access to ongoing Fire training for our engineers which ensure we’re always up to date with standards and providing the best quality of service possible.

9. Planning through Preventative Maintenance
Less Hassle and Lasts longer
As the name suggests, the point of Maintenances is to prevent problems from arising by having your system managed properly by a professional company who has a vested interest in your safety. Through regular inspection and adjustments where required, your system should experience fewer false alarms and faults.
Fire Alarm maintenance visits occur twice a year (unless stipulated otherwise in your Fire Risk Assessment), the goal being to ensure that no false alarms occur in between those visits. As our engineers inspect your system each year, we will provide condition reports advising you if your system is in need of replacement or upgrade.
10. Free consultancy, survey and system design
Even the best equipment needs replacing at some point
If your Fire or Security system is getting tired and it’s time to bite the bullet and raise a budget for a new one, as a BAC customer we’ll happily come out to you at a time and location to suit you to discuss your needs. Once we have ascertained the remit (and if applicable insurance requirements), our surveyors will survey the site in its entirety before creating a design proposal and quote for your consideration. All of our surveys and quotes are total free and without obligation.
